Director - Pat O'Neill
Pat O’Neill has over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry. In the mid 1980’s, Pat successfully established and operated a mid sized construction firm in New York, U.S.A. Upon returning to Ireland in the early 1990’s Pat, along with his fellow directors Sean Minihane and Brendan O’Neill, established ABM. Pat has experience of traditional build, design & build, rapid build schools, refurbishments extensions, new builds, private and public sectors projects including educational, residential, medical, and commercial and civil engineering.
General Manager - Philip Weinmann
Philip is a Chartered Structural Engineer and has over 25 years post qualified experience across many sectors within the construction industry in various engineering roles. Philip graduated from Bolton St., College of Technology in 1992 with a Degree in Structural Engineering and spent the early part of his career working in Consulting Engineering practices as a Design Engineer and Client-Side Project Manager. In 2000, he joined ABM and led the ABM Bridge Systems Division as General Manger/Associate Director and was responsible for all operations in Irish, UK and European markets. In 2011, Philip joined Leighton Contractors as a Project Manager and was responsible for the delivery of over $200m of precast concrete for the multi-billion Gorgon LNG Plant, Civils and Underground Services contract. Philip re-joined ABM in 2015 and as the General Manager is responsible for all day to day operations, particularly the strategies for winning work and the management of resources and systems to deliver projects to meet client expectations. Philip is a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland and The Institution of Structural Engineers and has also completed an Executive MBA.
Head of Construction - Robert Fraser
Robert has over 23 years’ experience in Traditional Build/Design & Build construction methods and has been ABM Contracts Manager & PSCS responsible for Department of Education Rapid Build Schools Programme for the last 10 years. Robert has worked on many projects including Schools, Residential, Medical, Commercial and Retail and has an in-depth knowledge of project management and the complexity of programming projects from inception to completion.
Commercial Manager - David Howard MRICS / MSCSI
David has worked in the construction industry for over 15 years and has gained significant experience across all sectors both at home and during a spell in Australia. He has worked with ABM for over 5 years and has been involved in over €150 million of projects within that period. David is responsible for the financial management of projects along with aiding in putting together bids for tenders, and negotiating and agreeing contracts. He is responsible for managing the Procurement team including the Quantity Surveyors, Purchasers and Estimating team. He over sees the day to day commercial performance of the projects including; tender awards to suppliers & sub-contractors, Client and Subcontractor valuations, monthly cost reporting, final accounts, and variations. He is also heavily involved in value engineering on our Design and Build contracts and works closely with our design team during the design stage of the projects. David is a chartered member of the RICS and SCSI, he has an Honours Degree in Construction Management and Masters in Business Management where he specialised is Risk Management within the construction industry. He has also completed a Diploma in Applied Project Management & IPMA International Certification in Project Management.
